Szeretettel meghívom önálló kiállításom 'Anyag Nélkül' megnyitójára, mely az Óbudai Társaskör Galériában nyílik 2009 november 17.-én kedden 18 órakor.
Megtekinthető: 2009. december 13-ig, hétfő kivételével naponta 14-18 óráig.

Buky Schwartz (IL) Levitation / Lebegés (1976)

Szobrász és videó művész Buky Schwartz Jeruzsálemben tanult, majd Londonba költözött 1959-ban, ahol az új szobrászi problémák érdekelték a St. Martin Művészeti Iskolában. Később 1971-ben New Yorkba költözött, ott folytatta pályáját.

Sculptor and video artist Buky Schwartz born in Jerusalem and originally trained as a sculptor in Israel, Schwartz moved to London in 1959, where he played an important role in the hotbed of new sculptural directions at St. Martin's School of Art during the 1960s. in 1971 Schwartz moved to New York, where he continues his work.

Tara Donovan (USA) Untitled / Cím nélkül 2003

Tara Donovan amerikai művész munkái a látásán alapulnak, ugyanis képes a leghétköznapibb eszközökből tervezni, amit sokan észre sem vesznek. Ragasztószalagot, ceruzát, vagy éppen műanyag poharat, tányért és szalvétát használ. Szobrászi munkája a természetet idézi.

New York artist Tara Donovan works, one-of-a-kind art is based on her ability to see, imagine and create forms, shapes and textures from ordinary objects that most of us don’t even notice. She creates art from rolls of tape, pieces of pencil, Styrofoam cups, paper plates, napkins. Her sculptural works evoke thoughts of nature.

Björn Dahlem német művész Münchenben született 1974-ben. 1994-2000 között a düsseldorfi Művészeti Egyetem diákja, Berlinben él és dolgozik. A Tejút című műve fából, neon csövekből, és egy üveg tejből épült 2007-ben. Méretei variálhatóak.

Björn Dahlem born in Munich in 1974. He learned in the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf between 1994-2000. Lives and works in Berlin "The Milky Way", Wood, neon lamp, bottle of milk, Dimensions variable. 2007

Philippe Ramette francia művész két szempontból csoportosítja műveit.: installációkat készít szobrokkal, és szürreális objekteket készít sokszor humorral fűszerezve, a saját személyét használva fekete frakkban furcsa szituációkban, meglepő táji körülmények közét.

Philippe Ramette is an artist who uses two major media to express himself: with installation and sculpture, creating impossibly surreal objects and situations often using nonsense humor, and with the turning of his own body clothed in a black suit into a surreal situation, just one component of a landscape so extravagant and visually stunning.

Buckminster Fuller and Shoji Sadao projekt 1960

Korábban már írtam Buckminster Fuller a témához kapcsolódó munkáiról, de ezt a művet most találtam. Fuller lebegő városokat képzelt el, melyek mozgékonyak. A hatvanas évek elején született terv gömb alakban lett vázolva, mely így hasonlít a bolygókhoz, és több száz ember befogadására lett volna képes.

I already wrote about Buckminster Fuller earlier, but I just find this artwork from him. Fuller's imaginary floating sphere-enclosed cities are given a sense of feasibility through technical explanations that would seem to render them possible. The visionary architect drafted plans in the early sixties for spheres that would hover above the earth and hold several thousand "passengers."

Sam Taylor-Wood (UK) Escape Artist / Menekülő Művész 2008

Sam Taylor-Wood Angol művész új sorozata a lebegő önportré a létezés pszichikai határait teszteli. Köteleket használva magát felfüggesztve a stúdiójában (a függesztés digitálisan el lett távolítva a fotókról) a művész lebegőnek, a levegőben heverészőnek, vagy éppen leesőnek látszik a mozgásától függően, 'teljes szabadságban'.

Sam Taylor-Wood British artist, her new series of Self-Portraits Suspended tests the physical boundaries of existence. Suspended in her studio using ropes (which are then digitally removed from the photographic prints), the artist appears recumbent, levitating or falling in a series of attempts to achieve a moment of ‘absolute release and freedom’.

Csörgő Attila (HU) Magnet Spring / Mágnes Tavasz 1991

Csörgő Attila elsősorban Budapesten él és alkot. Tavaly részt vett a Sydney Biennálén, 1999-ban a 48. Velencei Biennálén és 2003-ban a 8. Istambuli Biennálén, valamint számos ismert nemzetközi kiállításokon. 2009 ősszén a Ludwig Múzeumban mutatja be munkáit, Budapesten. Csörgő megkapta a Nam June Paik díjat 2008-ban.

Based in Budapest, Attila Csörgő took part at last years Sydney Biennial, in the 48th Venice Biennial in 1999 and the 8th Istanbul Biennial in 2003, as well as other well-known international events. In autumn 2009, his body of work will be shown in an extensive exhibition at Museum Ludwig in Budapest. Csörgő was awarded the Nam June Paik Prize in 2008.

Claire Morgan (UK) On Top of the World / A Világ Tetején 2009

Claire Morgan Belfastban született. Az Ulster és a Northumbria egyetemenen szobrászként diplomázott. Londonban él és alkot. Az elmúlt öt évben installációkat készít, melyek nagyon aprólékosak és kidolgozottak. Számos felfüggesztett kitömött állatból állítja őket össze. Az eredmény nagyon tiszta és nagyon izgalmas.

Claire Morgan was born in Belfast. She attended University of Ulster and Northumbria University where she achieved a first class degree in Sculpture. She is now based in London. She’s been creating an amazing series of art installations over the last five years or so. All of them are extremely meticulous and delicate, having been put together through a number of suspended objects hung around taxidermied animals. The final result is very clean and very beautiful

John Miller (USA) Imaginary Friend / Képzeletbeli Barát 1998

John Miller Clevelendben, Ohioban született 1954-ben, pillanatnyilag New Yorkban és Berlinben él és dolgozik. A Képzeletbeli Barát 1998-as mű mesterséges virágokból, hungarocellgömbből készült, damil felfüggesztéssel. Az installációhoz tükröt és homokot is használt.

John Miller borned in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1954, lives and works in New York City and Berlin.

The Artificial flowers made in 1998, he used styrofoam sphere, monofilament, sand and mirror.

Jeff Koons Amerikában (Pennsylvania) született 1955-ben. Az „egy labda teljes egyensúlyban” című munkája az Equilibrium (egyensúly) sorozatból való, mely a chicagói kortárs múzeumban volt kiállítva 2008-ban, de a sorozat eredetileg 1985-ben kezdődött, és azóta számos variáció készült belőle. Koons elsősorban a köztéri alkotásairól ismert, például a Puppy című óriási növényi plasztikáról.

Jeff Koons was born in York, Pennsylvania in 1955. The artwork „One Ball Total Equilibrium Tank” from the Equilibrium series Exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago May 31 - September 21, 2008, but the series started in 1985, and Koons made several variation. He is known for his public sculptures, such as the monumental floral sculptures Puppy.
